This is a bent-laminated basswood stand designed to support a walnut disk through flowing, fish-like geometry. The project explores how expressive form, joinery (solid wood, notches), and structural logic can coexist.
Process
Experimenting with different structures and shapes. Decided to go with fish/boat shape— with curvature, elegance, and movements.
