Modular Kitchen Organizers
Collaboration Project with Amy Kim
Postmodern-inspired modular, customizable kitchen system with Memphis-style color and injection molded manufacturing. Designing a system to adapt to the dynamic workflow inside kitchen space.
Modular Components include: Top base, bottom base, tall divider, short divider, hanger, napkin weight component.
The patterns of the two base pieces creates a slide and lock mechanism to lock the dividers into place, while also providing drainage if water comes.
Some possible reconfigurations:
dining → napkin holder cleaning → sink organizer cooking → spice rack

Manufacturing Methods:
Injection-molded polypropylene or ABS for primary components, with powder-coated steel reinforcement or hidden aluminum supports in load-bearing areas, and silicone paddings for slip resistance.
Something’s Fishy
Experimenting with different structures and shapes. Decided to go with fish/boat shape— with curvature, elegance, and movements.
M&M Watering Can
This watering can reimagines a familiar gardening tool through playful, rounded forms inspired by M&M-like softness and summer energy. Its sculptural body integrates ergonomic handling, stable tripod support, and optimized water flow to create a joyful yet highly functional watering experience.
Visual Reminder to Water Plants
Be visible and accessible: The watering can lives on a shelf, desk, or in a corner near plants, and should be easy to see and grab without moving other objects.
Prompt the user to water plants: Because the user often forgets to water plants, the can should be visually eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing, acting as a passive reminder

Ergonomics
Comfortable handling: include a holder or handle that supports a natural grip and makes carrying and pouring feel effortless.
Controlled pouring & Deliver water precisely to the roots: A thin, elongated spout (beak) allows water to reach deep into soil, targeting plant roots rather than wetting surrounding surfaces.

Water Analysis + Flow Movements: Upslope that leads water up, minimizes water accumulation on the bottom

1:1 Model using Polyurethane foam, Acrylic Tube Tapered, Epoxy, Gesso, Spray Paint
Rolley Trolley Cart
This project reconsiders the widely used plastic utility trolley, a product valued for its affordability, light weight, and ease of movement, particularly in dormitories and living spaces.
While efficient, the original trolley in the dorm often suffers from visual heaviness, structural imbalance when unevenly loaded, and limited durability over time. The redesigned trolley preserves the original’s ease of assembly while introducing a more stable structure and a more minimal form. The cart can be taken apart and reassembled quickly, allowing it to adapt to frequent moves between places without becoming a permanent casualty of relocation.
